What data do we collect?

We use Google Analytics for aggregated, anonymized website traffic analysis. To track your session, Google drops a cookie called (_ga) with a randomly-generated ClientID in your browser. This ID is anonymized and contains no identifiable information like email, phone number, name, etc. We also send Google your IP Address. We use GA to track aggregated website behavior, such as what pages you looked at, for how long, and so on. This information helps us understand how people use our website. The _ga cookie has a default to stay on your device for 2 years. There is also the _gid cookie that is utilized to distinguish users which is deleted from your PC following 24 hours. There is the _ga_<container-id> cookie which is used to persist the session state which stays for 2 years. If you’d like to access what browsing information we have - or ask us to delete any GA data - please delete your _ga cookies, reach out to us via insert contact method, and/or install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.

How do we collect your data?

We collect and process data directly from you when you:

  • Use or view our website via your browser's cookies.
  • Use or view our website via Google Analytics which utilizes the cookie information to determine which domain to measure, distinguish unique users, throttle the request rate, remember the number and time of previous visits, remember traffic source information, determine the start and end of a session, remember the value of visitor-level custom variables.

What do we do with your data?

  • Develop and improve products: if the user gives their consent, Editorial Unit and other third parties that use this type of cookies may use the information collected from browsing the website to (i) improve existing products and content with new features, (ii) develop new products and features and (iii) create new analytical models and algorithms using machine learning techniques.
  • Storage and access to geolocation information to carry out market studies: if the user authorizes it, our geomarketing partners may collect aggregated and anonymous geolocation data, in order to carry out market studies for their own clients that help them latter both to gain a better understanding of the market and its trends and to analyze the performance of their stores and competitors.

How do we store your data?

CōLab does not store your data but rather sends the data to Google which securely stores your data within their Google Cloud Instances which follow the best practices as well as the regulatory and legal requirements for your personal data. Our Company will keep your Google Analytics Data for enter time period. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by Google’s automated cookie deletion process.

Marketing

  • CōLab does not perform marketing with your collected data.
  • You have the right at any time to stop CōLab from contacting you for marketing purposes.
  • If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact us here.

What are your data protection rights?

CōLab would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access: You have the right to request CōLab for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
  • The right to rectification: You have the right to request that CōLab correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request CōLab to complete information you believe is incomplete.
